EGA Futura: With small company software, sales personnel can directly communicate with their managers instantly. 72
Itâs a CRM, litigant Relationship Management system. Track your regular accounts, your sales leads, deals finished, and deals fumbled. And get a birds-eye-view on how your sales force is doing.
At the flick of an switch, well a few switches and a couple of dials, Sales Cloud 2 allows you to see whoâs your selling machine, your selling medium, and your selling muntard (âCome on, help âol Gil out here! â, Gil Gunderson, Your Simpsons).
With this beastie you can oversee anything from a little crack sales team for an army of door knockers. Itâs all there and itâs ârelativelyâ easy to use. This watchable little video offers you a better, more succinct rundown with the functionality than I could hope to tap out here. And what âhad everyone at helloâ about Sales Cloud 2 is itâs âChatterâ featureâ¦a Facebookish stay chat system that allows you to see what your sales force is up to instantly. Lots of appropriate fields to complete and handy pull-down menus of options that help you dodge repetitive data entry (allows a giant plus!). You can have an account up and running pretty quickly.
Itâs you cannot assume all fun and games although!
But I have to admit, Iâm not exactly bubbling over with excitement here. Why? Sales Cloud 2 has a cool name, and seems like it could be funky on first impression. But itâs not. Itâs severely pragmatic. Austere even.
If you happen to donât care about aesthetics or atmosphere in your workplace then no doubts. If you do, then the sheer nuts and boltsy look could easily get to you. Iâm a giant fan of the âmake succeed funâ movement and Sales Cloud 2 reeks involving seriousness. Sales is a people oriented business. Itâs all about relationships and personality. Then why canât the software have a certain amount of personality too? For illustration, off this is the visual impression of this âhelpâ gatewayâ¦
â¦it doesnât bode well for the friendly, supportive vide with the help cavalry. They may very well be really cool, but I shouldnât ought to give them the main benefit of the doubt. Their available door, ready to help approach should smack me inside face from the outset! These guys need to adopt a leaf off Mail Chimpâs (link to review) banana sapling.
So now, down to the nits and grits. How much coinage are planning to have to chuck into the pot for Sales Fog up 2?
That didnât hurt, did it? Sales Fog up is affordable, Iâll give them that. Iâm not sure in the event the $5 contact management option will probably be worth it as youâd oftimes be better off with a spreadsheet and another like Outlook or I-Cal. My impression is a Sales Cloud isnât manufactured for the small operator. A three man sales force would barely scratch the top of functionality here. But if youâve became an army of door knockers to manage, and you care not a jot for funky colors and friendly messages, then Sales Cloud 2 may be your ticket.
Is the Sum greating in comparison to the parts?
